The Sweetback Sunday is the radioshow of Colonel Sweetback. Based on the exploration of the soundtracks of the 60's70's, this show will introduce you to all the great composition made for a certain kind of movie : thriller, western, giallo, sfx, blaxploitation and B movies. All the known and unknown musicians will be reviewed sunday after sunday.

This sunday, the show will be based on the career of Kinji Fukasaku, a famous japanese director responsible of many yakuza movies during the 60'70's. We will also talk about the different soundtracks produced for this movies.

Especially this sunday, the show will be about the recent movie "Drive" directed by Nicolas Winding Refn who won the Cannes festival's Best Director Award for the film.
The show will bring to light the musical and cinematographic references who appear in "Drive" like "The Thief" directed by Michael Mann or "To live and Die in L.A" directed by William Friedkin and their soundtracks......

In a few month, Dracula 3D directed by Dario Argento will be on screens, it's an occasion to return on the collaboration between Goblin, the Italian progressive rock band and Dario Argento during the 70's80's who produced many giallo and horror films like Profondo Rosso, Suspiria, Inferno, or Zombies.
