The Sweetback Sunday is the radioshow of Colonel Sweetback. Based on the exploration of the soundtracks of the 60's70's, this show will introduce you to all the great composition made for a certain kind of movie : thriller, western, giallo, sfx, blaxploitation and B movies. All the known and unknown musicians will be reviewed sunday after sunday.
This show, which is the sequel of the Sweetback Sunday Number O7, will be based on the music of three different italian neo polar during the 70's. This type of film constitute a sub-genre of crime and action film that emerged in Italy in the late 1960s and reached the height of their popularity in the 1970s. Poliziotteschi films are also known as poliziottesco, Italo-crime, Euro-crime or simply Italian crime films.
